Breakfast with Santa!

Hi, my dear blog-friends:

As you read this post you will notice that it has nothing to do with sewing but I wanted to share with you the reason I was not sewing something today.

Today I was invited, as a collaborator, to El Gaucho Inca Restaurant, located at Fort Myers Florida. The assured me that I was going to have a chair to seat if I got tired.

The breakfast started at 11 am and they were waiting for me with the face paintings! And as every year I began to paint the faces of the female staff first. Then all the kids were coming in and they wanted their faces painted too!

Santa came to town, with his wife Mama Noel, and they brougt some christmas presents for the kids.
There were also a large table with hot coco and fruit cakes, cookies and candies!

After that, there were a "build your own necklace" and all the kids participated. They were so excited about that.

Also, all kids wriote a letter to Santa asking for what they want for Christmas. Mariana Sue, my 6 years old niece confessed me that she has asked Santa, in her letter, for a puppy!

By 2 pm Santa said "It is time for me to go back to North Pole"

By that time, I was very tired and got my headaches back but I was also so very happy. When I came back home, went to take a nap and I slept from 3pm to 7 pm! When I woke up have some dinner and after that started to draw some patterns for my next project pajamas. I am making my first small Kids Clothing Collection. It is supposed to see daylight by Feb, 2014.
