1/12 Doll Victorian skirt and blouse (Step by Step)

When I started to make my 1/12 dolls (actually I prefer 1/8 doll) I search the internet trying to find something that fit these doll. It was difficult to find one place that had a tutorial. So after many attempts I got tired and decided to buy some books for the miniature dolls and their clothing, and after lots of reading, I  made this skirt and dress. I do love pink color, so it could not be other way, I made them pink with white lace.
To make clothing for 1/12 is not just to reduce a pattern. It is like you make clothing for babies, they are not small people, they are babies. With the scaled dolls it is almost the same.
Now I share with you this one. I hope you like it.

This is a 1/12 Doll Victorian Dress. I am sorry, but Blogger did not let me to post the pics in the order I wanted.

To make this skirt and blouse: I used a piece of cotton fabric and lace. I bought a bundle of fabrics at Hobby Lobby for 9.99 and they came like quarters of 5 pieces. I only used one of them.

For the hat: I bought a hat at Hobby Lobby for under $5.00 (came almost 8) and painted pink color with acrylic paints and put some roses and ribbon on it. (I bought a bag of little roses for 3.99 at Michaels).

When you finishes the skirt you may want to sew or glue some lace, like  5 rows of them, to adorned the skirt.

Important: As long as you do your dress iron to flatten the seams.
